Are the food prices about the same in Alaska or are they a lot higher than expected? If they are higher can you give any examples?

according to a June 2007 State of Alaska report the average cost for meals at home for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children between ages of 6-11) is $153.78 a week.

IT's just my husband and I ans we spend on adverage 600 to 800 a month, Keep in mind we buy mostly FRESH fruits and veggies and NO processed boxed foods
