Icon2 Looking for long term Rental

Hello,

I'm on my way to Sitka this summer (08) Should be arriving between May and July. I'm looking for a long term rental 3 to 5 yrs.

I do have 2 dogs under 25lbs both well house trained and kennel trained they are not allowed free roam of the house when we are not home.

looking for a 2 or 3 br EBB heat (just can't afford gas/oil these days) more than 1100 sq feet.

Thank You,

Hi Onmyway!

Just wanted to tell you that you are right to make sure you have housing before you come. So many don't and they have a very stressful time of it.

A few tips for you;

Many young people share housing on arrival as it can be so expensive. I would post your need at this forum, amount you need to pay as rent, what type of corenter you'd like, etc. Also there is another forum, at www.sitka.com, where you should do the same.

When the time gets closer, if you have not secured housing by then, we have a call in radio program, too, that is good to call and post your problem at no charge. It's called problem corner. You can post it online and they will read it during the show, or you can call it in. To post online: www.kifw.com, go to classifieds. To call in: 9077476266, or 6626, I always forget.

It goes from 11 am to 12 noon M-F and 11:30 to 12:30 on Saturdays. Hope that's some help!

Sharon
