Sitka

I was living in Sitka when the military had a simulated invasion there. they set up command at the centennial building and spent a few weeks in town performing maneuvers. What I need to know is the dates this happened and if anyone remembers some of the actions they did over this time. Please help if you remember any of this, even just a rough guess as to the year and time of year it happened. Thank you
