my first time be gentle crowd

I lived in Sitka for about a year in 2000/01. I hiked mostly when not at work and loved smoked salmon. I attended the church by SeaMart and lived out HPR for awhile. It took me a long time to get use to the rain and the routine. I didn't appreciate the living until I was gone but now think I could adjust more easily knowing what to expect. I particularly loved the hike up Mount Verstrovia. (not sure of spelling) and the dance bar near the Center of Community building. The combo band was fun to dance to. I never got used to buying cauliflower by the pound. Yesterday I bought two heads for $3 dollars. I am rambling a bit about the experience but overall hope to visit Sitka some day in the future.
