Sitka

We've been following the movie hoopla here in Sitka East (Rockport, MA) in the papers. You should be thankful that you were not subjected to the "movie experience"! What you will enjoy is all of the "mis-information", and downright wrong stuff that only a local could spot in the finished movie.

We lived in the locale for the filming of the Tom Hanks movie "Turner and Hooch" several years ago -- the movie was weak, but we enjoyed all of the "wrong way" and outright wrong information portrayed.

I'm attaching a bit of local information -- a link to our town band. There are pictures of the band in summer concert mode, and some sound clips for your enjoyment. The clips will also connect you to our local message board.
